The treatment of the love of power and control according to al-Ghazzali involves first understanding the true nature of the love of power and then treating it. He also discusses the treatment for the love of being praised and the different degrees of people concerning praise and blame. About the Author al-Ghazzali (AD 1058-1111), the philosopher-theologian, is considered by many to be the greatest Muslim thinker after the great Companions.
